Description

The Seattle/King County Coalition on Homelessness and Schoolhouse Washington, a project of Building Changes, are pleased to offer this FREE WORKSHOP intended for social service providers and school staff:

  • Learn the rights of students experiencing homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Act.
  • Brainstorm how to problem-solve issues regarding McKinney-Vento laws when they arise.
  • Participate in interactive activities designed to increase understanding of the challenges that students who are experiencing homeless face.

After registering, please be sure to complete our PRE-TRAINING SURVEY. Look for the link to the survey in your registration confirmation email. Survey results will help us tailor the training to your needs!
